Being owned is best thing ever could happen to any sub. it’s like the prefect end for his suffering. on other hand, it’s a big decision, in fact it’s the biggest decision in his life.
I have been in this scene long enough to learn some lessons. Some of them were painful and ugly too. I came up with few advices.
All subs had good days and bad days. I'm sure all dommes could tell the same. I realize that most of subs don't really know what being owned really means as well as some dommes. they don’t know what does it mean to own someone.
“to be owned” for some subs means I will go exclusive and won't jerk for another hot girls. “to own” for some dommes means I have you in the trap now I can ignore you and hunt for a new victim.
To own and to be owned, these are very strong words. People shouldn't be throwing them around like candies. Owning is a scary word. Just like the proposal in the regular relationship, you must be freaking out when you hear it for the first time. It should take very long time of knowing each other, and building up a solid ground of trust.
I think it's the best for everybody to take things like we did in collage by courses or classes. Ask a domme if she agrees for some sort of "training programs" that has limited timeline. Then when it ends, you both can decide if you want to keep going to this school or no.
I think by this idea we can avoid lots of drama. Dommes avoid stupid worthless time-waster. And subs avoid being torn apart by someone.

- Don't rush being owned. I know it's beautiful. I know it's your dream. Just don't go too fast. Take it slow and pay attention to your partner.
- Be honest and clear. Don't compromise or lie! if you think about it this way. If you pretend to be someone else just to be accepted by a dominatrix, you will end up being accused of lying. No body will say you were "trying too hard" to meet your partner' needs. for example, if your domme is into fin-slaves only, don’t keep it quit if you are not. just tell the truth.
- Be clear about what you want. Speak up with all respect and do tell your partner about yourself. if you aren’t into things, say it. for example, if you don't accept the idea of being sissy, well talk!
- Ask about everything, don't lay on things will go well. Hell NO, things will go shit if you step on a trap. some maybe gets his hunt in these gray area, Do not leave gray areas in your relationship.
- learn to discuss things. your limits can be expanded with her help. just tell he what you fear to try and what you want to try.
