First would you please tell us few about yourself as an introduction to the interview.
Sure. I’m Miss Mai. Among other things, I’m a genderfluid erotic hypnotist and switch, equipped with male genitalia. (She/her is fine, most of the time).
I’ve been interested in sexwork and kink for over twelve years at this point, and I’ve owned at least one fleshlight for the past 6-7 years.
1) What first ignited your passion for promoting plastic pussy?
I think it began as curiosity. I'd seen them in porn a couple times, or maybe advertised, and so when a sub offered to pay for one for Me, I gave it a go, and it was just a delightful experience. I think I came almost instantly the first time I used it. After that, I was taken by just how delicate and soft and varied they could be. In parallel to that, I do a lot of hypnosis play and I devise a lot of mind-affecting mantras. When talking to and teasing folks, I arrived at "Pricks Prefer Plastic Pussy", and really, it just sounds perfect when said like that, so it stuck ;) It dovetails into some other interests of mine rather nicely too, so it’s a natural fit.
2) In your opinion, why is it crucial for individuals to transition from regular sex to plastic pussy?
Hmm. I'm not sure I'd paint it as crucial or essential, but a fun alternative to other forms of masturbation. Hands are fine, but humans have evolved to fuck things, and a fleshlight is safer than other alternatives. It might not be an exclusive deal, but sometimes regular sex is just a messy stressful time. A fleshlight can be an intimate solo partner for sexual exploration. You can take your time preparing yourself and your "partner" (I often encourage folks to personify their fleshlights) and really have a good time, in whatever scenario you like.
They work for solo play, or with partners. It’s honestly super versatile :) Sweet and wholesome, or gently humiliating, whatever suits you. Play is about fun!
3) Can you shed light on some misconceptions people might have about fleshlights?
As far as misconceptions, I'm not sure how many I've come across, really. The main thing I suppose is just that they need a certain amount of care that you might not expect. Anything regularly coming into contact with a human body needs a thorough cleaning after use. They can be rather delicate things sometimes, although I'm not sure how much of that is down to brand variations and materials. Another common misconception is that you _have_ to have a penis to enjoy one, and I don't think that is true. If the taste isn't off putting, they're fun for a bit of oral fun,, fingering practice or even strap on a dildo and thrust away~
4) How do you address concerns regarding the cost of becoming a plastic pussy pumping puppet , especially when advocating for virgin audience to embrace them?
A good quality toy isn't cheap, that's true, but unless you decide to go deep on collecting them, they're an easy one-off purchase that can last a while, with proper care. For some of the more hopeless virgins out there, you might find it cheaper and easier than a relationship ;)
5) What tangible benefits have you personally experienced or witnessed in communities that have shifted towards plastic pussy pumping?
It’s like any kink or fetish interest, they bring joy to those that use them, and when people are happy, they have better sexual fun. The sensations in masturbation they bring can be rather intense, so you see a lot of folks enjoying the experience greatly. It gives a safe space to explore sex without the pressure of another persons judgement.
6) Beyond fleshlight use, you also advocate for the gooning. Can you elaborate on why this is equally essential?
Oh I love gooning. That one’s about the struggle. The self discipline which is required to fight the natural urge to orgasm, delaying it for a greater pleasure. Humans are wired for instant gratification so denying that impulse for a different kind of pleasure is so fascinating to me. Both gooning and fleshlight use can give you a better understanding of your anatomy and sexual preferences, learning the ways you respond to different stimuli and exploiting that for more fun.
7) For someone new to the idea of fleshlight humping, what are the first steps they should consider mentally and physically ?
I think if you’re considering it and you’ve the funds, then the first thing people usually ask me is “which do I get?”, and that question tends to depend on their interests and use-cases.
There’s three main considerations:
Form factor - they come in different sizes. Small ones are good for hiding or travelling. (The QuickShot and Go series are great for this)
Internal texture - You can’t gauge this easily, but there are resources explaining and reviewing these out there.
External orifice design - Some pussies are abstract shapes, others are platonic ideals of a pussy, and some are molded on real pornstars. Pick what appeals to you 🙂
8) How do you envision the future of plastic pussy movement and its impact in general ?
Moving forward, I suspect it’ll continue as it has. Not everyone wants the fuss of a toy when they play, or they might invest in it for special occasions. I’d hope more people felt comfortable and encouraged to use one going forward.
9) Can you share some of your favorite resources that help in promoting fleshlights and plastic toys?
Favourite resources… well, I run a discord community that focuses on fleshlight play, for a start. Bringing people together in appreciation is essential. For reviews and advice, there’s https://fleshassist.com/ who keep a database of the different sleeves/textures/externals.
10) Lastly, what message would you like to leave our readers with, especially those who are on the fence about making the shift?
“Pricks Prefer Plastic Pussy”. What do you have to lose really, in giving one a go?
